AI Disclosure
Effective: 6 April 2026
This disclosure explains how artificial intelligence is used in the Aurolabs decision intelligence service. It is provided in the interest of transparency and in accordance with the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
All reports and analyses produced by Aurolabs are autonomously generated by artificial intelligence systems. They are not authored, edited, or reviewed by humans. Use them as research input, not decision output.
1. AI-generated content
When you submit a question or decision context to Aurolabs, the following process occurs entirely through automated systems:
- Research phase: AI agents autonomously search publicly available sources, retrieve information, and synthesise findings relevant to your query.
- Report generation: A large language model produces a structured report based on the research findings, including analysis, arguments, and conclusions.
- Adversarial review: A separate AI model reviews the generated report for weaknesses, biases, logical gaps, and unsupported claims. This is an AI-on-AI review process — no human is involved.
- Delivery: The final report, including the adversarial critique, is delivered to you.
2. No human editorial review
At no point in the report generation pipeline does a human review, edit, fact-check, or approve the content. The entire process — from research to writing to adversarial review — is performed by AI systems.
This means:
- No human has verified the factual accuracy of any individual claim in a report.
- No human has assessed whether the analysis is balanced, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
- No human has reviewed the sources cited or confirmed their reliability.
- The adversarial review, while designed to catch errors and biases, is itself generated by AI and subject to the same limitations.
3. Source attribution
Reports may cite sources such as news articles, academic papers, government publications, and industry reports. These citations are generated by AI and are subject to the following limitations:
- Sources are not individually verified by humans for accuracy, relevance, or currency.
- AI models may generate citations to sources that do not exist (hallucinated references).
- The interpretation or summary of a source may not accurately reflect the source's actual content.
- Source availability may change after the report is generated.
You should independently verify any source or claim that is material to your decision-making.
4. Intended use
Aurolabs reports are designed to be used as research input — one data point among many in your decision-making process. They are not intended to be used as the sole or primary basis for any business, financial, legal, medical, or strategic decision.
Appropriate use includes:
- Initial research and orientation on unfamiliar topics
- Identifying arguments and counterarguments to consider
- Discovering sources and references for further investigation
- Supplementing — not replacing — human expertise and judgement
Inappropriate use includes:
- Treating reports as professional advice (financial, legal, medical, or otherwise)
- Making high-stakes decisions based solely on report content
- Presenting AI-generated content as human-authored expert analysis
- Relying on citations without independent verification
5. Known limitations of AI
The AI systems powering this Service have inherent limitations that you should be aware of:
- Hallucination: AI models can generate plausible-sounding but entirely fabricated information, including fake statistics, non-existent studies, and invented quotes.
- Bias: AI models reflect biases present in their training data, which may result in skewed analysis or underrepresentation of certain perspectives.
- Recency: AI models have knowledge cutoff dates and may not reflect the most recent developments on a topic.
- Context limitations: AI models may misunderstand nuanced or ambiguous queries, leading to reports that do not fully address your actual question.
- Overconfidence: AI-generated text may present uncertain or contested claims with unwarranted confidence.
6. EU AI Act classification
Under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), we classify our Service as a general-purpose AI application. We provide this disclosure to ensure transparency about the nature of AI-generated content in accordance with the Act's transparency obligations.
Specifically:
- Content generated by our Service is clearly identified as AI-generated through labelling in the Service interface and in this disclosure.
- We do not deploy the Service in any high-risk use case as defined in Annex III of the AI Act.
- We do not use AI for biometric identification, social scoring, or manipulation of human behaviour.
7. Your responsibility
By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- All outputs are AI-generated and may contain errors.
- You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and act upon the content of any report.
- You will exercise your own professional judgement and seek appropriate expert advice where necessary.
- Aurolabs AB accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated content (see our Terms of Use).
8. Changes to this disclosure
We may update this disclosure as our use of AI evolves or as regulatory requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
