Cookie Policy
Effective: 6 April 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They allow websites to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in.
2. Our approach
We use only one cookie, and it is strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration | HttpOnly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| session | Authenticates your login session so you remain signed in as you navigate the Service | Strictly necessary | Until you log out or the session expires (typically 7 days) | Yes |
This is the only cookie we set. It is an HttpOnly cookie, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript running in your browser, providing an additional layer of security against cross-site scripting attacks.
4. Cookies we do not use
- Analytics cookies: We do not use any analytics service that sets cookies.
- Advertising cookies: We do not serve advertisements or use retargeting pixels.
- Third-party tracking cookies: We do not embed social media widgets, trackers, or other third-party scripts that set cookies.
- Preference cookies: User preferences are stored server-side in your account, not in cookies.
5. Legal basis — consent not required
Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended), strictly necessary cookies do not require user consent. Our session cookie qualifies as strictly necessary because the Service cannot function without it — it is the mechanism by which we authenticate your identity after login.
We disclose this cookie here in the interest of transparency.
6. Future cookies
We may in the future introduce analytics cookies to help us understand how the Service is used. If we do:
- We will update this Cookie Policy before introducing them.
- We will request your prior consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
- You will be able to accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time.
7. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that if you block our session cookie, you will not be able to log in to the Service.
Common browser cookie settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
8. Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this page. For non-essential cookies, we will request your consent before setting them.
